Illustrated. John Bryce's football scoop and guys, since we last convened, college football's transfer portal

took over the sports internet. Takes over Notre Dame beginning today, a little later, but that's

just a, I guess, the Homer Simpson four-day weekend equivalent of after it made its way to Bloomington, Indiana, apparently, and elsewhere in college.

But we'll get to that news after some positive.

Since we last met, Al Washington moved as expected to linebacker coach.

That'll be good for his defensive coordinator resume in the future.

But the big part of that, of course, Charlie Partridge added

it as defensive line coach, and Tim Priester, you followed up with that story, but put the story on

that immediately. Yeah, I think we can, not getting much pushback on the notion that Charlie

Partridge is one of the premier defensive line coaches in all of football, the development that he's done on the collegiate

level, which he has spent the majority of his career, spent the last two years with the Colts.

But Charlie Partridge, and I think it's a fun tie-in with the question that you included there,

Tim, from Sub-Fan, which I'll go ahead and throw right now. With the loss of Max Bulla, Max Bulla, the

addition of Partridge in the switch of Washington, is this defensive staff defense better off

than it was last year? My answer to the question is yes, because a premier defensive line coach

supersedes a premier. There's a lot of quality linebacker coach, some better than others, obviously,

but a premier defensive line coach by Charlie Partridge, that's where it all starts up front.

I think we've seen, I think Pat Coons at Indiana former Nordane players showing that he's a pretty

damn good defensive line coach himself because of the way that unit plays. And so I know

lost in the Nick Marsh news and everything

that's been going on with the portal, that's kind of forgotten. But Charlie Partridge is a premier
