I'm Tim Priester from Irish Illustrated, and you have tuned in to Irish Illustrated Insider.

It's Monday, March 13th, a little bit of news breaking out of Notre Dame on Sunday.

Not great news.

Brandon Hillman, the exciting athlete, the

Nordame thought that they would be getting this summer, has asked out of his national letter of

intent for personal reasons. We'll get into that, but Brandon Hillman will not be coming to

Nordame this summer, and that's a blow because Nordame's safety situation is not good.

He's a pretty exciting athlete.

We'll get into that in a little bit. But earlier in the week, last Wednesday, we had an opportunity to meet with the two grad transfer,

Sam Hartman and Caleb Smith, new assistant coaches Joe Rudolph and Gino Godouli.

And then a couple of defensive players that we didn't catch from, from two or three weeks ago in Drake Bowen and the Don Schuller and then the offensive freshman,

Kenny Minchie, Jaden Great House, Rico Flores, James or Braylon James, and Sam Pendleton. Pete, I know you didn't have an opportunity to be

there. Tim and I were there. Tim, let's start with you and tell us what you thought of some of the

guys we had an opportunity to speak with. Yeah, I bet you the readers of Irish Illustrated will

echo this, but Kenny Minchie, obviously

very impressive interview. Now, being an impressive interview is all that matters.

Dane Christ, it also would have been Notre Dame's best football player in the last 15 years

at quarterback. So that's not all there is, but boy, Minchie was impressive. I enjoyed talking.

I interviewed to kind of paint a picture for people. We interview some and we

talk to some briefly because they all are, most of them are out there at the same time.

But I interviewed Great House. And that is a confident kid. I really enjoyed all three
