It is Monday, August 25th, and game week is finally upon us, Notre Dame fans.

I'm Tim O'Malley, joined today by Tim Priestier, of Irish Illustrated, and John Bryce of Football Scoop,

and this is Irish Illustrated Insider.

Before we get to a final update on the Irish depth chart, one that will be officially released,

we think, tomorrow right before Marcus Freeman's noon press conference. And before we delve deeply into the season opener at Miami,

hey, Prish, if you started working on Miami yet? I'm going to find that real fast. Yeah, in April.

Yeah. I ask you, Tim, your thoughts on week zero with it in the rearview now. Was there a highlight

for you in Dublin? I don't know about highlights. I thought that that was a fairly, well, it was a competitive

game. I don't know how entertaining it was. I was impressed by Hawaii. I realized it was

Stanford. Stanford's got trouble. But I thought, you know, the Hawaii quarterback, he was, he was hugely advertised

going into the game. And after a strip sack and touchdown in the end zone to open the game up,

he did some really good things. So I wasn't glued to it. Kind of treated it like the last off

weekend that it actually was.

And yeah, nice win for Iowa State.

That was really a, that's a heck of a matchup.

Those are, you know, two teams in the big 12 that you don't necessarily expect to be there every year.

And yet they are.

So I thought that was a pretty entertaining,

competitive game. Baby you taking Ian? Yeah, I did. Certainly was glued to the Kansas State,

Iowa State game with major FOMO there. That was a great trip. We all took to Ireland two years ago,

so I was reminiscing about that and the Brazenhead pub.

It's the oldest pub in Ireland and all of that.
