We mentioned that there would be new news.

We didn't know that it would be quite this definitive,

but Nordames's offensive coordinator, Jared Parker is Nordames's offensive coordinator for

one year. He is headed his way to Troy University, the new head coach at Troy. We have with us,

Tom Loy, John Bryce, Tim O'Malley, Pete Sampson, a full house here to talk about Jared Parker

taking the job at Troy, and we'll talk a little bit about potential successors to Jared Parker

at Notre Dame. Let's start with John Bryce. Thanks, T.P. Yeah, huge news, huge opportunity for Jared Parker. A little interesting note I discovered

when I was writing this morning and last night for football scoop. That is, Jared Parker replaces

John Summerall, who just got the Tulane job. Summerall and Jared Parker were teammates together

at the University of Kentucky. I have to think that that did not harm Jared in his pursuit of this job.

He interviewed in person with him late last week.

It went well.

He had been a finalist along with the West Virginia defensive coordinator and the SMU defensive

coordinator.

And then Jared got requested for more interviews and meetings Sunday.

And that's when things really heated up and it trended very wholeheartedly in Jared Parker's

direction at that point in time. Jared Parker interviews well. We can all remember when he was

announced as Nordames offensive coordinator. He impressed everybody, including the fan base.

But Tom Loy, we weren't expecting a head coaching position for Jared Parker the Soon, but he interviews very well. And the job of
