Notre Dame goes to East Rutherford, New Jersey, and beats of daylight out of Navy, 51 to 14.

And I, you know, I expected Navy to be, that's a pretty veteran football team.

And Brian Newberry, after the game, said the moment was too big for them.

I didn't think it would be, but it clearly was.

Yeah, there's no doubt about it.

I mean, I think the major surprise was that if you could ever say there was a threat, every threat was extinguished immediately by Notre Dame. I really thought there be at some point Navy would make it threatening 11 point game, 2817, what used to be a 28 point game or 21 point game and there'd be just a little game pressure.

But their Notre Dame's defense and Nordames's offense made that.

That was the reason number one it wasn't.

And number two is their own miscus were just, I can't remember a team shooting themselves

in the foot like that because Pete, seven fumbles, you said, lost five.

There were seven fumbles at one point? Yeah, just

with one pick on top of it. Yeah. At least that's a play, though, the pick was a play that

Leonard Moore made. Yeah, it reminded me, this is a kind of tangential, but like, I remember having

a conversation in the Michigan press box like 10 years ago with somebody covered Michigan, Michael Floyd was catching these like just lob touchdowns and they're like, why can't

that guy just turn around and play the ball? And it's because like it's because he's guarding Michael

Floyd and he's kind of like losing his stuff. And I felt like Navy sort of lost its stuff against

Notre Dame because they're like,

Riley Mills is huge.

And like, oh my God, like, do you see the size of Bo Collins?
