We will now begin to expand inland, striking progressively deeper into Iranian territory,

and creating additional freedom of maneuver for U.S. forces.

Defense Secretary Pete Hexeth and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Dan

Kane updated reporters this morning on the war with Iran.

General Kane made a point to say that over the last few days, Iran is sending less drones

and firing fewer missiles.

Iran's theater ballistic missile shots fired are down 86% from the first day of fighting,

with a 23% decrease just in the last 24 hours.

And their one-way attack drone shots are down 73%.

But it's unclear whether that drop is because their supplies are dwindling or if they're just pacing

themselves for a longer battle. As for the U.S. munition supply, Kane pushed back on reports that it could

quickly run low. Meanwhile, Hegzeth said a U.S. Navy submarine used a torpedo to sink an Iranian

warship in international waters. First time they've sunk an enemy ship that way since World War II.

He also said they sunk a warship called the Soleimani,

named after the Iranian general who was killed by U.S. forces during President Donald Trump's first term.

Looks like Potus got him twice.
