Jim obviously our big story is the fact that we got the Iranian retaliation on Tuesday evening,

roughly about the same time, ironically, that Salomoni was taken out at the Baghdad Airport on Thursday of last week,

Friday, local time there. So we found out that it was about a dozen to 15 missiles

from Iran to a couple of different air bases in Iraq where

U.S. troops are housed in the end. No U.S. casualties, no Iraqi casualties,

basically a lot of loud noise.

Iran claiming that 80 American service members were killed, the Pentagon saying all of our

service members are just fine, leading to John Roberts, the White House correspondent over at Fox to sum it up pretty

well in his tweet.

Iran's claim to have killed dozens of U.S. troops would seem to indicate that last night's

missile attacks were a massive propaganda fireworks show.

But in the end, with no damage done to American personnel, it gave President Trump the opportunity

to come out today say that Iran is effectively standing down, once again reminding us that taking

out Sulemani was the right thing to do, and then he offered this.
