We have breaking news from U.S. Central Command.

We now know that three U.S. troops have been killed, five wounded in the military operation

called Epic Fury against Iran.

The Central Command says that several others are recovering from minor injuries or concussions.

It's not clear where they were killed.

CENTCOM says, out of respect for the families, it will withhold additional information,

including the identities of the fallen service members, until 24 hours after the next of kin,

have been notified. Meanwhile, Iran is still reeling from the killing of its longtime Supreme

Leader in launching retaliatory

attacks across the region. Last night, Iranian state media confirmed that Ayatollah Ali Hamene,

who has ruled as Iran's de facto head of state for 37 years, was killed during the attacks.

The Islamic Republic regime has quickly convened a transitionary council comprised of its president,

its chief justice, and a senior cleric until a new supreme leader is chosen.

But the United States and Israel are hoping they don't have that chance.

Strikes on Iran continued today with the Israeli defense minister saying they will not stop

before, quote, objectives are achieved. That objective?

The toppling of the regime which has controlled Iran since the Islamic Revolution of 1979.

In his announcement of the strikes, a pre-recorded video released on social media in the middle

of the night Saturday, Donald Trump told the Iranian Revolutionary Guard to lay down their weapons and encouraged the Iranian people to retake their country from the regime.

As Tehran remains under fire for a second day, many residents are fleeing the city to seek safety.
