Concerning Islamic Republic of Iran's Suspect Nuclear Weapons Program. David, a very good evening to you. Malcolm, you have a question.

0:57.0

Yes, first of all, David, thank you for doing this and it's certainly extremely timely given the events of the last few days.

1:03.0

So how would you characterize what happened? Some say it was a sellout, some say it wasn't that it was only a partial closing down of the cases involving the suspected attempts to weaponize its nuclear program.

1:16.0

How do you evaluate it?

1:19.0

2:34.0

The IAEA has been presenting the information saying, well, Iran, we've got your cold, let's talk about it, and every time Iran says no.

2:43.0

Now, when the IAEA finally was allowed to go there a couple of years ago, after overcoming Iranian resistance, they took an environmental sample that detected some uranium.

2:55.0

Iran has come up with a possible, and that's the IAEA puts at a possible answer for that uranium being from an old lab associated with the uranium mine in the 1960s.

3:10.0

But by no means to the IAEA close the file, and in the report it makes clear we stand by our results on our Maravans and an IAEA speak is never easy to understand.
