of Research at the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies.

The last Malcolm equated me with this story.

The U.S. in some fashion was going to transfer $6 billion to the Islamic Republic of Iran

in exchange for filling the blank.

Is the $6 billion still in play?

Has it happened yet?

I don't think we have confirmation yet that the money has moved.

It's the $6 billion being held in South Korea.

It's an escrow fund where South Korea paid in money to Iran in exchange for oil at a time

when the U.S. permitted the oil sales but not for the money to go directly to Iran.

So to your knowledge, the money is still in South Korea or in some fashion.

Is that correct, David?
