I have a returning guest, a very special guest.

His name is Dr. Moti, Nassani, last name is spelled N-I, S-S-A-N-I.

If you listen to my show, you've heard our earlier discussions. I covered a book he

just published 2023 titled 8 billion Cheers for Democracy. And then we also in March went over

another book. I highly recommend them. This second book was The Encyclopedia of Domestic

Assassination really goes into how many interesting

deaths there have been in the United States. But you can see those and links to those on his website.

So I'll put a link to his website here. He just also wanted to let me know. He's working on a book

of poetry right now. So he has interest in literature. But he, the last time we talked, he sent me a book that I hadn't really been familiar with.

And the title of the book is This Perfect Day.

It was written by Ira Levin.

And people probably know Ira Levin from his other books that he's written, such as the book Rosemary's

baby. He wrote the Stepford Wives, which is kind of these robot wives, the boys from Brazil,

about eugenics and trying to resurrect Hitler. But this one, this perfect day, was written,

6970, I think it was published in 1970 1970 and it was a winner of kind of a

prestigious science fiction award, the Prometheus Hall of Fame Award. But I read it very

fascinating. Ira Levin, by the way, was born 1929, died 2007. So he's unfortunately passed away.

But this book was really interesting and and it goes in line, and

Moti and I were talking kind of about how it fits in with, these other dystopias people

are more familiar with 1984 and Brave New World, but we're going to talk about that, but I'm
