All right, welcome everybody back to this episode of the improved photography

podcast. I am joined today by Mr. Nick Page, the amazing photographer, and today he is fresh off a trip back from Kauai

where he did some shooting there and Nick I hear you had some horrible trouble with

the so today you want to talk a little bit about the

fizol three four seven two tripod and why you are about ready to throw this thing off

a cliff so what's wrong with it?

Well, so anybody that's been shooting with me

knows that when I first got the Fizol 3-472,

which is the flagship tripod from Fizol. I loved it when it first showed up.

When it was working properly, it's an amazing tripod. Behind the scenes, however, I have

been having some issues with the legs binding up before they get to the

designated stopping points. What would happen is I would go to open my my tripod leg

and it would just get bound up and then I would have to like

release the little thumb lever and then try to put it into place.

It was just a huge pain. Fizol was really good about trying to fix it for me.

I think that I sent it in to be repaired three times.

And then they replaced it with a completely different unit.

And then that one started to fail. And then they sent me some parts to change out and I was hopeful okay

maybe this is maybe this is gonna fix it and I started to do it again. So I've had
