and visible seams takes us behind the seams of the New York garment district to meet eight

talented Asian seamstresses and pattern makers that are an integral part of its beating heart.

The film brings these women into the spotlight from anonymity,

painting their intimate portraits of their lives and a story told through their own voices and tales.

contemporary intersections of fashion and race, as well as the imperative to expand the narrative
