Ladies and gentlemen my name is George Ezra and this is an introduction episode to

released my first album back in 2014 and have been touring and writing and

and it's something that I've never been able to shake in fact I'll often be

asked in interviews what my hobbies are outside of music and the truth is although

there are other things that interest me I promise there are and my real hobby and my passion lies

in music you know and I'm well aware that that makes me you know the luckiest chap in the world

you know I get to live and breathe it every day it's amazing and now a year or so ago a friend

of mine introduced me to the world of podcasts and I you know as instantly hooked is this world

that is relatively well known but it seems it's still somehow manages to stay somewhat under the radar

you know many of the shows I listen to are candid honest conversations between two people

interesting people talking about interesting things thinkers and dreamers sharing their ideas

in fact a lot of the shows I listen to are comedians talking about their experiences in the industry

and the highs and the lows of performance and I started to wonder if pop stars pop singers would be

able to commit to the same amount of honesty in conversations or is there just you know if they're

too much smoke and mirrors in the world of pop music you know for the industry to work does it have

to be behind this curtain and it will be on the stage and everything going on behind the stage should

should not be known to the public you know would would guests be comfortable enough to open up and

discuss the amazing highs alongside the realities of touring and being in the public eye and so yeah
