0:21.1	the subhistory for those of you who are just tuning in and don't know anything about the
0:24.7	female dating strategy. And then we're going to go over some of our favorite moments from
0:29.0	the female dating strategy subreddit, which is where we started. Sounds good. All right. So
0:34.3	brief history of female dating strategy. It was started in 2019 on a little known website named Reddit, which of course is a joke because Reddit's like the sixth or seventh most popular and most visited site in the world. And it was a subreddit called Female Dating Strategy. It was started as part of like an overall movement of a bunch of different female
0:55.7	centric subs that were started in response to the overwhelmingly male patronage of Reddit.
1:01.8	Reddit is something like 70% men. And so there's a lot of different subreddits and a lot of
1:07.6	different topics. But I think over time, a lot of the female users were
1:10.9	noticing that, even on topics that were supposed to be female-centric, like, I think, our
1:16.6	feminism, our ask feminists. Two-X chromosomes. All of those big general subs that would talk
1:24.8	about female issues would be overrun with men inserting their opinions on
1:29.2	stuff that nobody asked them for.
1:31.3	Yeah, like men here, I am here to contribute my valuable male opinion.
1:36.8	Or as a guy, that's how it always starts.
1:39.4	As a guy, this is what I think when literally nobody asked.
