In Southwest Kansas, a group of men started meeting in secret. They would spend hours, weeks, months forming a dangerous militia group and plotting a devastating attack on the Muslim population in Garden City.

I can't do matter if there is no f***ing Muslim. There's only one good f***ing time like a mess of death.

Straight out.

What they planned would have been one of the worst acts of terrorism in US history.

Well, I just would have completely shaken the foundation of America. But it didn't happen.

I'm Dick Lair. I'm a journalist who dug deep into figuring out how this attack was thwarted. And it led me to one man, Dan Day.

I truly believe that, you know, God put me there. It's right time for whatever reason. Right place with the right time.

He became an informant for the FBI and risked everything to do what he thought was right.

And that's why I immersed myself in stacks of court documents, listened to hours of secret FBI recordings and that first hand the people involved.

Because I knew this was a story America needed to hear.

A story about immigrants making a life for themselves in Garden City, Kansas, and how all of that was threatened.

No idea that people can't be so hateful, so bluntly hateful.

About xenophobia and white nationalism taking root at home.

I'm sick of seeing these coming into this country.

And about a man who decided to put his life on the line to save others.
