I'm excited to tell you about a new podcast called Truer Crime, hosted by Salicia Stanton.

Salicia started Tru crime after she was the victim of a massive financial fraud scheme

that resulted in the loss of her entire life savings.

It was an experience that forced her to confront what

the justice in criminal justice really meant and after navigating a

tangle of tears, cops, and courts, her perspective had shifted.

She found herself with lots of questions.

Like does the story really end with a headline arrest or guilty verdict?

How can we actually support victims?

What does justice really mean and who is it really for?

As true crime listeners, you and I both know how deeply these stories impact all of us.

Salicia didn't think the answer was to stop telling them.

Instead, she wanted to go deeper,

and true crime does just that.

Every episode explores real people, real crimes, and the real systems that shaped it all.
