Season 2 is called Empire on Blood, and it is the director's cut of the True Crime Classic podcast that reached number one when it was first released six years ago.

Tim, we covered this with the great Steve Fishman, and we're so happy to hear that it's being re-released as a director's cut.

And for those who need a reminder, Empire on Blood is set in the Bronx in the early 90s

when two young drug dealers, Calvin and his protege ruled an intersection known as the Corner

on Blood.

Then the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide, which he claimed he didn't do. But did he? Empire on

Blood is Calvin's last chance to overturn his life sentence. But someone's got to pay.
