This week's story is called And So It Begins, and it comes from Genesis chapters one and two.

Did you know that the Bible is a big book made of 66

smaller books? Wait, what? How does that work? Well, God used lots of human authors to write

his book over hundreds of years to tell us all about his big story. The human authors wrote smaller books that, when

combined, make the big book of the Bible. The first book in this big story is Genesis, and it's

one of the oldest books. It's also very important for understanding the rest of the story.

Our Bible is broken into two sections that you may have heard of, the Old Testament and the

New Testament.

Genesis is located in the Old Testament.

Like most of the Old Testament, it was originally written in Hebrew.
