Hey everyone, we've been working on something behind the scenes that we're finally ready to launch.

But before I reveal it, here's a little context.

There are so many sonic stories that I want to tell.

Almost every day someone on my team will come up with a great concept for a show.

Or a listener will get in touch about a sound that inspires us.

Not only that, but there are tons of sound-related stories in the news that I would love to comment on,

and my team would love to comment on too.

The tricky thing for us is that each one of our episodes takes around 250 to 300 hours to make.

We'll work on these shows for six months.

Many of them over a year.

Because of this, we're creating a second show right here on our feed.

It's called Microhertz.

In physics, a microhertz is equal to 1 millionth of a hertz.

Essentially, it's the space between every hertz.

So for us, that means microhertz episodes will be released between our normal 20,000 hertz shows.

The show itself is much more conversational than our regular episodes.

But it's still focused on what we love, the world's most recognizable and interesting sounds.

Not only will you hear more stories, but we'll also go behind the scenes, have other interviews,

answer listener questions, and frankly, do whatever we want, and whatever you want.

This show will be exclusive to our 20,000 hertz plus subscribers,

and we've already launched the first one.

It's a reflection on our last episode.
