Summary

Jimbo, James Horncastle and Gab Marcotti return with the concluding part of our special on the great Gianluca Vialli. Having tackled Sampdoria and Juventus, we look at Luca’s move to England where he played for and eventually managed Chelsea to major silverware. Like a kid with the keys to a Ferrari, to quote Fabio Capello. We also examine Vialli’s complex relationship with the Italian national team and his falling out with Arrigo Sacchi. A relationship now rekindled within Roberto Mancini’s international set-up. Plus the concept of “owling” and the 1994 World Cup final. RUNNING ORDER: • PART 1: Vialli moves to Chelsea and becomes manager (01m 00s) • PART 2: Watford, writing and witty punditry (11m 00s) • PART 3a: Vialli’s battle with cancer (18m 00s) • PART 3b: Vialli’s complicated relationship with Italy (21m 00s) • PART 4: Favourite Vialli memories and goals (28m 00s) GET IN TOUCH: • follow us on Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/totallyfootballshow/) • find us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/thetotallyfootballshow/) • send us a tweet: @TheTotallyShow (http://www.twitter.com/thetotallyshow) Learn more about your ad choices.
