Tim and his team worked very hard and making 270 into a truly innovative space that will wow guests.

And already everything we've seen from it looks amazing.

Tim sat down with me to discuss how he and his team took up this challenge and give us all a sneak peek behind the scenes of how 270 was created.

Tim, we brought you on here because your design work for Quantum of the Cs,

specifically in the 270 realm, is really interesting.

And I really want to spend some time here to talk about kind of the process, the design process,

because I think that what we've seen so far has been really impressive.

And, you know, I guess the first thing we want to understand from your end of things is,

you know, how does a company like 5 Plus design get into a project like Quantum of the Seas?

What's the – I know you did some work with the celebrity brand in the Solstice class ships.

Is that kind of where this all began and this led you down this road?

Actually, we started our engagement with Royal Caribbean on the initial ideas for Genesis, which resulted in Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas.

And what happened was Royal Caribbean held a series of sort of think tank panel workshops across the country for all the different aspects of the ship design.

So they held one for retail, one for gaming, one for spa, you know, one for dining,

et cetera.
