Had a little conversation recently with Leah Macy,

Notre Dame women's basketball forward,

Mr. Freshman's season with a knee injury.

She tore her ACL at the end of her high school season before getting to Notre Dame and then was rehabbing

all last year and caught up with her about everything that's going on. So I won't waste any more

time yak it. I'll just let you hear it right now. Well, we are with Leah Macy from the Notre Dame

Women's Basketball team. And as you can see, she is, she is already back home in her home state of Kentucky,

getting ready for what should be a sun, sober vacation.

How are you doing there, Leah?

I'm doing good.

I'm finished with finals this week.

So I headed home yesterday.

The drive was easy and quick.

So excited to be home with family for a few days.

Then I head off to Italy. So exciting few weeks before summer starts. Yeah, no kidding. You've got a lot of

stuff like you said that's going on and you did just finish your freshman season. Your first finals.

How did your first official finals go last? I think week? I think, you know, first semester was kind of, was kind of a rough, you know, finals week was like, oh, like this is, you know, for real, like you got to study and do all this stuff. So this second semester, I had, you know, I had a little, a little more down than first semester, but it was good. Thankfully, I only had two, so it wasn't too

bad for freshman year. But no, I had a great semester of classes. Yeah, so I mean, I'm excited for the fall.
