She won the gold medal in the two-woman bobsled for Canada at the 2010 and the 2014 Olympics.

Prior to the 2018-19 season, Humphreys came forward about the harassment she faced from the governing body of

professional Canadian bobsledding and specifically her coach Todd Hayes. She filed a lawsuit to be released

from Canada's national team last September and has now joined Team USA. Recently, at the World

Championships in Germany, in representing the U.S., she won both the one woman, as the Monobobob and the two woman bobsledding crowns.
