0:24.5	She worked for Fiat Chrysler as the director of marketing and operations for their

0:34.9	And her teams earned three national titles, including the Factory
0:39.2	Viper Teams championship in the IMSA series and the NASCAR 2012 with Team Penske title. So she has
0:51.1	so much experience in this field. In 2021, Pareda launched Pareda Autosport. This is a racing organization
1:02.5	that is dedicated to leading diversity initiatives across professional racing disciplines. And that
1:09.4	includes the ND 500, IndyCar, NASCAR, and beyond. So we are so excited then
1:16.6	to have Beth Perretto with us. Welcome to burn it all down. Thanks so much for having me.
1:21.9	It's great to be here. I want to just start, you know, let's come in hot like you do. We talk a lot on this show about starting
1:30.1	independent sports organizations, different types of governing bodies. You know, you have launched
1:36.7	this major organization. I can't imagine it as an undertaking. Can you tell us a little bit about
1:42.9	how does one just decide to start this
1:47.5	type of endeavor? Well, it's funny. Somebody asked me, like, well, what made you think that you could do
1:52.5	this, which is sort of a funny thing? So I have an IndyCar team, a professional IndyCar team.
1:56.7	So what is unique about us is that we're majority women and it's never been done before.
2:02.2	The impetus behind it is I was working for car companies and saw how car companies used racing.
2:07.6	I mean, I've been a racing fan my whole life, like started as a kid, literally watching it on TV.
2:11.4	I was like a fan in the stands.
2:12.7	I'd beg my parents to take me to the track and they did.
