You've got a book that came out back end of last year, November time I believe it was, called

The New Millennium Serial Killer.

This focuses on Christopher Halliwell, a case I covered in my season eight finale a few weeks back.

So it's fresh in my mind, which is a very positive thing.

Before we get to the book, what I want to do is just in case my listeners aren't aware of one or either of you,

let's just have a bit of background for you both.

If we could start with you, Chris, I was reading some of your

biography, I suppose, on the dust jacket of the new book. And I found it quite interesting.

Do you want to tell me about your career in Norfolk Constabulary? Yes, Stuart. I joined in March

1966 back in the heartbeat days.

And two years later, we actually had the unit beat policing, which brought in the collator, which was the first intelligence package for the whole country.

The collator's job was to analyze and disseminate information coming on from
