What we do here is present news from the state level that will end up having national importance later,

or news that made it into the national news cycle,

but was overshadowed. Then we go over some questions from y'all.

On this date, June 21, 1788, New Hampshire became the ninth state to ratify the U.S. Constitution,

bringing it into effect.

Okay, and on to the news.

Alaska residents, like residents in many other states, are finding out that the one big beautiful bill will sell public lands in their state.

They're not exactly thrilled about it.

In California, Trump has ordered more National Guard out, but they're still training.

Given the lack of disturbance, it's starting to look more and more

like nothing more than a giant publicity stunt. Colorado authorities are investigating a

heist of thousands of Nintendo switches.

Also in Colorado, residents are surprised to learn that Trump's one big beautiful bill authorizes the sale of millions of acres of public lands.

Delaware is offering millions in assistance for utility bills.

Elsewhere in Michigan, a study says that a single person in the state needs to make $87,000 a year to live comfortably.
