Tennessee football scrimmage number one is in the books.

It happened on Saturday the good, the bad, and the ugly.

And then what now? I mean, Tennessee is getting towards the end of a true fall camp with Mock Game Week coming up the next week. So this week technically it's kind of like the true last week of camp.

The following week is Mock Game Week where there's not a game there, but they're going to treat that week like there would be a game.

And then the next week is game week. So some things, you know, rubber's got to meet the road, right? Push comes to shove here pretty soon in terms of some of these position battles. We're going to discuss all that and more in segment number three right here on your Monday show. All right. So again, you know, I know the scrimmage happened on Saturday. I know we covered Josh Hoppers press conference on Saturday afternoon and, you know, there's

been reports and some videos out there since and all that. But, but essentially, like, for me,

nothing was surprising that I heard coming out of the scrimmage. Remember, media is not,

media is not allowed to be there. So,

this is a collection of notes from, you know, myself in terms of, you know, who told me some things. Of course, it's, you know, Volkwest had notes out there, you know, Saturday morning before, you know, right when the scrimmage was done, you know, awesome price issued a whole laundry list of notes and all that. And there's been some notes gathered I've seen out there from, you know, online and from other places of the last couple of days.

But a lot of this stuff was told've seen out there from, you know, online and from

other places of the last couple of days. But a lot of this stuff was told to me in terms of, you know, during the scrimmage. And nothing that was told to me was texted me during real time. Surprise me. Okay. In saying that, the defense dominated the day. The defense owned the day. Often struggled in pass pro. often struggled passing the football.

Tennessee was able to run the football pretty well.

And none of that was a surprise to be. Number one, it's scrimmage number one. Offense is usually

behind the defense. And number two, it's like, okay, what's your expectations for the quarterback

play at Tennessee?

If anybody thought Tennessee was going to get all SEC quarterback play or, I mean, I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer,

but anybody thought Tennessee was going to get probably top six or seven quarterback play in the SEC.
