There is so much to get to today, newsbreaking that Julian Edelman has had surgery.

So we're going to get into the implications of that.

Also, we're going to get Castle's take on Cam's

quarterbacking woes and his separation anxiety with the football. Phil is going to come off

the top rope on to Josh Allen in advance of the Buffalo Bills matchup, which is starting to look

like an uphill climb. And I'll talk about whether it's if Steph Gilmore gets traded this week or when in general he gets dealt at all.

So Adam Schaeft are first reporting that Julian Edelman had had precautionary and standard knee surgery.

I've since confirmed that, yes, indeed, he did have surgery, how standard it is.

I'm not sure. And actually, how precautionary it is. I would also wonder if that's the case.

My understanding is that this is the ongoing knee issue he's had since last year at

Cincinnati when he aggravated the knee.

It's been going on the same way.
