and it's a delight to welcome you back to this next installment of off-campus conversations.

I'm delighted to be joined by Dr. Daniel DeHan.

So we have been Temistic Institute travel companions together.

I once was your estimable chauffeur on a three-day to Mystic Institute lecture tour, I suppose.

Yeah, we can say tour. After two installments, it becomes a tour in the great state of Texas,

where you did your graduate studies. But people won't necessarily know you from the great

to mystic institute tour of 2019, although they may know you from other

things, like your lectures that have been featured on the domestic institute podcast now for

several years. But for those who don't know you, would you say a word of introduction, who you are,

where you're from, what you do? Yeah. So I'm Daniel DeHan. I'm originally from Iowa long ago

and studied philosophy at the Center for Domestic Studies

in K.U.LU.LU.N. Did a doctoral thesis on Avicenna's metaphysics. And then I went to Cambridge

for a postdoc and philosophy of neuroscience. And then I've been at Oxford since 2018 and I'm

now the Frederick Cobblestone Research Fellow and Lecturer with a joint

appointment at Campion Hall, the Jesuit College at Oxford, and Black Friars, the Dominican

College at Oxford.

And I'm a happy father of two children who kept me and my wife up late last night, so we'll
