In the well-heeled leafy town of Wilmslow in the northwest of England, the death of an elderly couple shocked the neighborhood.

Even to this day when you speak to people in Wilmslow, they old remember it, they'll know

it's something they'll never forget.

Despite the gruesome violence involved, police concluded it was a case of murder suicide.

In a frenzied attack, the husband, they thought, had brutally murdered his wife,

before violently killing himself.

Three years later, on the other side of Wilmslow, for a different family, the same horror unfolded all over again.

It was an elderly couple lying on their bed in their pyjamas.

Again, the sheets were blood-soaked.

Were these really murder suicides or could there be a serial killer on the loose?

It's a scary thought isn't it? It's kind of your worst nightmare.
