Hello again, everyone.

Welcome to Inside the Tape with Greg Kaplan.

And Greg, the Eagles, as we know, they had the big loss to the Niners.

But defensively, Greg, this is what surprised me.

I expected them to dominate. And they did anything but dominate, though they had their moments, Greg. Let's go over an overview. What did you think of their defense versus? Well, I thought they played the run game very well. And, you know, obviously McCaffrey did not have a big day. And I guess he had a 10-yard run late and other than that he really did

not have much at all and I thought they played it really well and again I was really blown away

by how good Jordan Davis looked. I mean he had a tremendous season. I mean it's the movement

ability. I mean he he made plays with lateral movement. I'm sure you saw it as well. He made plays

with lateral movement that a year or two ago, we would never even imagine that he could possibly make

really impressive season. I feel really happy for the young man. I mean, I'm sure the Eagles will

resign him and he deserves to be re-signed.

He really played well. I thought Nolan Smith had some really strong snaps as well in the

run game. We have to see how he's going to develop as a pass rusher. We started to see some

of that last year in 2024, but this year in that regard was a little bit of a lost season

because he missed so much time.

So I think there's some uncertainty as to what he ultimately is as a pass rusher.

But overall against the Niners, you know, it's so funny when people talk about teams, you know, like with the Eagles.

And obviously we did the offense and we spoke about it when people say things like, well, they do the same thing.

Well, the Niners do the same thing too.

You know, everybody does kind of the same thing.

It's, you know, they do what they do.

You know, and I'm talking about throwing the ball in the middle of the field, which the Niners do.
