the Hollywood Reporter's chief TV critic.

Okay, I got zero trick-or-treaters on Halloween.

How many did you get, Leslie?

I have no idea because we went to go see Boy Genius at the

Hollywood Bowl, the special guest Dave Cool for a song. So that was cool. Did you guys put out

candy or did you just let people go hungry? No, we turned off the lights and we let everyone go

across the street to the amazing graveyard set that one of our neighbors has every year that It attracts a couple hundred people. So, yeah, it was sad not giving on candy, but you know what? It was a nice change of pace being able to get to go to the show. I am not saying you made the wrong choice. Just you happen to actually live in a neighborhood that is kind of trick-or-treating friendly, as opposed to mine where there were actually nobody out in costumes

around my neighborhood. So anyway, happy Halloween. Lots of costumes at the Hollywood Bowl. How nice.

How nice. We were, Natalie and I were matching skeletons. So, or as she, she called us, lazy bones,

because they were onesies, so I was nice and warm. No judgment. Was the concert good?

It was great, yeah. I think that's the fourth show I've seen this month. This will be our new segment. Leslie reviews the concerts she'd been to because she's not a TV critic, but she can totally be a live music performance critic. Postal Service and Death Cab was number one on my list this month. You Two at the Spears number two. Brandy Carlisle and friends at the Hollywood Bowl is number three, and I love Brandy. So putting her at three was crazy to me. And then fourth, I put Boy Genius, just because I know their record, but I don't know as much as I know everything else. So it's more about the lack of emotional connection to it as opposed to the actual performance. Yeah, but the musicianship is, I mean, the music was beautiful.

And you can't find a better venue in LA for a crowd like that in the hallie.

Except for when it comes to parking and getting in and out.

Yep. Yeah, and well, in news that really matters to everyone else, the actor's strike continues on and is, again, still reportedly

close as both sides are closing in on a new three-year minimum basic agreement. Negotiations we

hear now are hinging on artificial intelligence as the Performers Guild is trying to make

that airtight because obviously AI threatens actors in a way that is
