It's called the Future25 and it's about the future of the music business and it spotlights 25 people who are doing some really innovative things in the music business and a lot of it is genuinely fascinating and I have with me to talk about that

So, yeah, spoiler alert, the music industry has been really horrible this year.

Everybody is in total disarray after COVID shut down live music.

Everyone's from not just the concert industry, but also recorded and publishing and things like songwriting have been affected because it's a whole ecosystem.

So this year we really wanted for our feature to spotlight people who were either defying those odds and starting something really, really fascinating and new or trying to do something that like brings things up a little bit, whether it's creating a new revenue stream or like bringing songwriters together for a new project that they can do in lieu of composing for new music since people are dropping fewer new albums and things like that.
