Good evening, everyone, and welcome to police off the cuff, real crime stories.

0:09.2

I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

0:16.7

You know, folks, there's been so much new information, just information that we didn't hear

0:24.6

while this case of Brian Coburg was supposed to go to trial.

0:29.5

And I think the disappointment in everyone almost is that so many things would have come out

0:37.3

in a trial that we're not really hearing

0:40.5

1:43.6

level?

1:45.2

Why was he studying serial killers?

1:49.3

And not from an academic perspective,

1:52.5

but from the perspective that he wanted to become one,

1:57.7

that he wanted to become a serial killer. Great interest and his searches on the computer

2:06.6

of really horrific things that could happen to women. And he studied them and he searched them.

2:14.6

And now as we find more and more evidence from the people from Selbright, who did the work on his phones,
