I'm really glad to be joined today by Philippe Rines, who is a fairly frequent guest on our show and someone who I always like to hear from about the Democratic perspective on the 2024 elections.

You have been around Democratic politics for a long time. You know all of the

landscape really well. But for those who might not be familiar with your background, I always like

I have to think back a little bit.

I'm at the age where my memory is slipping a bit.

I took a while to finish college.

But while I was taking my time, I worked in banking and finance for about seven or eight years, which later came in handy during the financial crisis.
