Well, I'm sadden to report, and even more sadden to say I'm not surprised, that there was yet another school shooting just last week.

This time, it wasn't in a classroom. It wasn't on a playground. It was in a church.

Children, as young as eight years old, gunned down, as they sat in

pews literally praying. It makes you wonder what in the world is going on. I wish I never had to

read headlines like these again, but here we are. Two children killed and 17 people injured

in shooting at Minneapolis Catholic School.

It happened in Minneapolis, the gunman, a 23-year-old who identified as a woman.

And no, I'm not going to say the name. If you want to find it,

you can find it. But I just refuse to give airtime to the bad actor in this. I'm just not going

to do it. But the shooter opened fire at Annunciation Catholic Church, part of the

Annunciation Catholic School for pre-K through

eighth grade. Two children's names, who I will say, eight-year-old Fletcher Merkel and 10-year-old

Harper Moiskey, were killed. 17 others, 14 of them children, were injured. Two were critical. 150 shell casings were found at the scene.

Now, the shooter barricaded exits with tubafors to trap people inside, and how did it end?

With an act of suicide in the back of the church.

Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara said,

The public expects law enforcement to provide some explanation for what happened.

But the reality is, this is an unthinkable, completely senseless act.

Violence perpetrated against children worshipping at mass.

The distraught mayor, Jacob Fry, said,

Don't just say this is about thoughts and prayers right now.
