Welcome in to the Inside the Locker Room podcast.

I am your host, Andrew DeCechko from Inside thebirds.com.

Yes, the Eagles have a game this weekend against the Cincinnati Bengals,

a team that they have not

beaten since. Get this, Christmas Eve of the year 2000. For perspective, the running back was

Chris Warren. The wide receivers were Torres Small and Charles Johnson. And then, of course,

you had the usual suspects on defense of the Andy Reed era, Corey Simon, Hugh Douglas, Jeremiah Trotter, Brian Dawkins, Carlos Emmons, and Damon Moore.

So that kind of puts in a perspective how long it's been since the Eagles have beaten the Bengals, but I believe that this team is positioned better now as they seem to be turning the corner,

but they're going to have to get off to a fast start, and we'll get into that in a little bit.

But before we get into the news items this week, let's get into some housekeeping items,

as the Eagles made some roster moves earlier in the week.

Promoted or signed, I should say, to the 53-man roster is offensive lineman Jack Driscoll,

who was drafted in the fourth round by the Eagles in the year 2020, played in 56 games,

made 17 starts, signed a big ticket free agent deal with the Miami Dolphins, but it wasn't

to be he did not make the team, but it wasn't to be.

He did not make the team, and he was signed to the Eagles practice squad on September 3rd,

had two elevations, one against the Browns, the other last Sunday against the Giants.
