Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. Wherever you are out there in the world, it's

time to step out onto the high wire. Today I want to start out today's show. I'm

debuting a brand new segment. I'm going to call geniuses of science. I saw this headline and I just

keep seeing headlines just like this one we're going to get into almost every week now, which

really begs the question, who's running the show? What's going on here? Take a look at this story

that came out of Yale News. Transgender mosquito, I mean, transgenic mosquitoes pass on genes

to native species. It opens with this sentence, transgenic mosquitoes released in Brazil in an

effort to reduce the population of disease-bearing insects have successfully bred and passed on genes

to the native mosquito population. I mean, when you read these articles, it's like the opening to a

science fiction horror movie. I mean, in the end, so obviously we knew Zika was a big deal,

a couple of years ago everyone's freaking out, out about Zika. We had, you know, Olympia is not

going to the Olympics to compete because of Zika. And just to sort of take you back there really

quickly, microcephaly was the issue. All of a sudden, there was, you know, many, many babies being

born with misshapen smaller heads. And we decided that it was the Zika virus had somehow mutated

overnight. Now Zika has been present for, I think at that point, a hundred years or more,

all over the world, different places. It never caused microcephaly before, but they were sure it

had mutated. And therefore, we've got to stop the mosquitoes. Now, I predicted then that this

story was a hoax. It was all, you know, they had a brand new Zika virus vaccine that they wanted

to launch on the world. But this was one of the attempts they were going to make to sort of stop

these mosquito-born illnesses. And so let's read some of this article. You get a sense, but basically

we're talking about hybrid mosquitoes or GMO mosquitoes. We talked about this before. And I said,
