Welcome to another episode of Surviving the Survivor, the podcast that promises to bring you the very best guests in all of true

crime. And today, no exception to the rule. I'm rifling through my notes here because I have

the bios for these gentlemen. And here they are. Just found him. So a moment of panic.

Good thing we've got Dr. Scott on the show, psychologists, to help me through these anxious moments.

We are going to be discussing once again, and probably for the last time for a while, the Hannah Kobayashi case.

She, of course, is the 30-year-old woman.

I believe she's turning 31 this month or next.

And LAPD held a press conference. We took it live yesterday where they said that she intentionally, of her own free will, went into Mexico back on November 12th. It's it's a tragic story because, uh, 12 days after that,

her father who was looking for her in Los Angeles, he unalived himself. It's a word, the wording we

use here, uh, on YouTube. And we're going to talk to, uh, Dr. Scott about, uh, all of this in a

moment, as well as, uh, chief Lewis Barry, who was a retired chief.

What was the agency in Massachusetts again, Chief?

I worked for two. One was down on the Cape Town called Orleans, and the other one was out near

Springfield town called Granby. And for those who do not know, Springfield, the home of the NBA Hall of Fame.

Hall of Fame, yes, exactly.

Right across the river is the Volleyball Hall of Fame in Hoyoke.

There you go.
