0:00.0	This is Sean Morgan with American Standard Media, and I'm here with Christina Urso, the creator of a documentary about the Whitmer Fednapping hoax.
0:17.1	Christina, can you tell us about when you first learned about this story and why it became important for you to cover?
0:23.6	So I first heard about this, like when the guys were arrested, that was October of 2020.
0:30.8	And it was one month before the election.
0:34.7	They did this, you know, big announcement where Whitmer was like smirking.
0:40.6	She was not acting like a victim would, like somebody that just learned that they were going to be,
0:46.5	you know, there was this group planning to kidnap and possibly kill her. Like, she looked gleeful,
0:52.9	right? And this, Michigan is a swing state. So I was like,
0:57.2	hmm, a little bit suspicious here. Plus, at that point, I've been working as an independent
1:03.5	journalist for a while, and I had already been looking into FBI misconduct prior to that. So
1:10.4	things like Pat Con, which is Patriot Conspiracy. This was an
1:15.1	FBI operation from the 90s that was targeting right-wing Christian militia groups, things like Ruby Ridge,
1:24.9	Waco, Oklahoma City. So when I saw the way that the arrests were being portrayed,
1:31.6	like I immediately was thinking, oh, it's Pat Con again.
1:36.1	And so, you know, I started reporting on the case pretty much from the beginning.
1:42.1	And so I'm imagining this is kind of similar to January 6th where a lot of these guys
1:48.0	didn't have resources to do a proper legal defense.
1:52.4	Yeah, of course.
1:54.3	It differs from January 6th in the fact that it was more personal for these guys.
2:00.7	January 6th, you had a bunch of people
2:02.7	that were kind of corralled into a trap that was set for them. And there were informants.
2:07.8	There were undercovers there that day. But in the Whitmer case, the FBI used a network of
