ever since last saturday early afternoon it's just been yeah mental mental time and i want to go back

to begin with two kind of then actually, actually, in a way, because obviously

we now know Andonia Viola has been confirmed as the new Liverpool head coach, signed his

two-year deal, announced last night, played all the hits in his interview for what it

were, who was ticking all the right boxes with some of the little lines he was getting

out that I was certainly suitably impressed. But I want to go back to the dismissal of Slot just momentarily.

More in a sense of, it's felt just a very straightforward line from,

Arna's Slot moves on, and Liverpool have just had their man, Andoni Rola lined up from the get-go.

There's been no waving on it.

Nobody else has been really in consideration, is that fair? There's not been anybody that's been mutas even in that conversation?

No, he was the only candidate they spoke to. I think it was apparent, you know, as soon as that decision was taken to Sack Slot, that the Iriola was the clear frontrunner and the you know barring a dramatic

chain of events it was it was going to be him yeah things advanced very very quickly

and and of course I don't think you know in modern football I don't I don't think the idea

that you would just make a decision of getting rid of someone without

even factoring in who's going to come next, that's not the reality, is it? So we know that
