families and communities across the country.

How have bad policies at the border augmented this problem?

This year, we watched tragedy take over the headlines as 22-year-old Lakin Riley

and 12-year-old Jocelyn Nengari were allegedly killed by migrants who entered the country

illegally.

According to the CDC, it's estimated that there were over 107,000 overdose deaths in the

United States last year, with fentanyl being responsible for roughly 69% of those deaths.

Additionally, reports of growing gang violence have sparked fear in cities and states across the

nation. How have we gotten to this point? Joining me back on the podcast today with a look at

the factors that have contributed to this crime epidemic is my friend, retired NYPD inspector,
