Alright Lawrence, people have been complaining and the comments like the other stories are the same,

you get on YouTube as tellin' someone very different the day.

I wouldn't even go down that route, I'm just gonna say you message me out of nowhere and said,

I have the best guest we're gonna get. I don't care about the comments, I care about this,

this is actually gonna be a really interesting chat.

Fair enough, we've got the man known as Nick Yaris, the author of the Fear of Thirteen,

the star of the Netflix, stop your memory, Fear of Thirteen.

If we did a thousand of these podcasts, we would probably never get a man who's had a life like this man.

I hope, I hope he never do.

For this sake, we hope not.

And I really am grateful that I was reached out to through Twitter and when I found out about the

TrueJurdy podcast, I thought, well, here's a great opportunity to meet just normal people

and do a podcast. I didn't want my entry into this to be on a high polished stage and stuff.

I like it that, like he said, he said, I'm just learning all this and I love it and you're right.

Maybe there was good criticism that came out of it to make you expand your guest list.

And that's always a good thing because the listeners rule, right? So I get that.

So my own story, if you don't know it, my name is Nick Yaris, I'm from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

I'm 55 years old as I sit here and I spent 23 years on death row for a rape and murder I didn't commit.

At the age of 20, I was arrested in the Philadelphia area where I lived and I was driving a stolen car

and I was high on drugs. My life had had all been blown apart because of my childhood.
