Welcome to this new episode of Inner Work.

So we find ourselves in a time of massive cultural and spiritual transition. It really does feel like unprecedented times in

human history. Of course, we've had so much technological advancement, really of incredible

proportions in the last decades, in the last 50 years, really.

And that technology has enabled us to connect with each other and to be creative in so many

amazing ways that we never could have imagined.

And that technology has also, in a lot of ways, actually disconnected us from each other

and from being in community, in local community, from gathering with others physically and having

this more genuine and intimate human interaction. And this technology has also reduced our

attention spans. And it has made us sometimes

really focused, even obsessed with screens and scrolling and social media and instant gratification.

So being able to click on a button and get items delivered to us

sometimes within the same day or within a couple of days. So really, again, experiences that

we never could have imagined just a few decades ago.

Now we are also hearing so much about the expansion of AI and these other technological tools.
