Well, we'll find out. Josh Bain, he is a member in the Indianapolis City County Council. He was one of,

well, he's one of about two or three that would actually like to fix what's going on there.

He has sent a firmly worded letter to the committee on committees asking for control over one of

the committees. Josh Bain joins us now. Josh, hello. good to see you okay so let's before we get to your sternly worded letter there is actually committee on committees yeah when i first saw that you know i i kind of chuckled a little bit as well but essentially what it is, it's basically what, like, legislative council

is over at the General Assembly. It's the leaders of both caucus and then the president of

the city county council. And it's just the mechanism to appoint people to committees. You know,

you have to have some way to appoint members of the majority and minority caucuses to each committee.

And so they meet maybe once a year.

And in that meeting, you know, it's probably just a couple minutes long, really.

Leader Lewis would say this is who the Democrats want to put on this committee.

And, you know, Leader Hart would say this is who Republicans want to put it yeah it really doesn't meet that often and you know when it does

meet like I said it's usually just a couple minutes long so and maybe change the name change

the name of it so it doesn't sound so eyebrow raising but it does actually serve a pretty

important function so it sounds a little bit like jury selection.

Yeah, you could say that.

I think I can definitely see the analogy there.
