And Miles Bonner is producing again, back in the

political hot seat. So this week has been another week, shall we say, in the land of Brexit. Lots to

talk about. I'm going to quickly just sum up where we are so far, the stories so far, and then we can

get into all the nitty gritty. So technically tomorrow was due to be the day we left the EU,

but last week that changed when a short extension was agreed to the 12th of April at the earliest

with a likely leaving date of the 22nd of May.

And because Theresa May still can't get enough support for her deal,

yesterday MPs held a series of what's called indicative votes,

which were due to show which options they might support.

And we'll give you more on that shortly.

But just before that happened yesterday evening, Theresa May announced that she would step down as Prime Minister before the next stage of Brexit negotiations if she got her deal through Parliament.
