Summary

Philip Rivers return to the Indianapolis Colts made for a fun story, but it wasn't enough to stop their complete collapse from AFC favorite to out of the playoffs. A miserable end to the season, the opposite of the San Francisco 49ers, who clinched their playoff spot before the game even kicked off. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Baltimore Ravens are still fighting for the AFC North, but now both teams are in uncertain positions with the status of two key players up in the air. For the Steelers, DK Metcalf was suspended for two games, but will appeal, after an incident with a fan. This comes when the Steelers need one more win to seal the playoffs. The Ravens, who lost Lamar Jackson on Sunday Night Football, could be missing him going forward with a back contusion. This could mean the end of John Harbaugh as Ravens coach if they miss the dance. In the NFC, two playoff spots are still up for grabs. A wild card spot for the Green Bay Packers or Detroit Lions, and then a divisional home game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers or Carolina Panthers. Who will grab these spots is the biggest question remaining in the NFL with two weeks to go.
