Indiana, here in the Great Lakes State, we love tales of good shipwrecks, but we have nothing

compared to the 1800 year shipwreck that was just found in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Yes, absolutely. This is a remarkable find off the coast of Natania on Israel's Mediterranean

the shipping question was caught in a storm. It bore cargo weighing at least 200 tons

that they say originated in the agent or the Black Sea region like Turkey or Greece and bound

for a port where it was likely to be used for building a massive public building like a temple

or a theater. These items include a 20-long footlong carving, a the capital which is the

top of the when they build structures and incorporated very beautiful and ornate capitals

on top of the columns. This is seen by an eagle-eyed swimmer who found it as he was swimming

and off the coast of Israel. It's the oldest sea cargo of its kind and it found in Eastern Mediterranean

and all of these Corinthian capitals and marble architrages and other things

are really a rare rare fine and hopefully will be on display for long as they it's a very

delicate operation because the ship was clearly badly damaged but very well preserved cargo on board.

1500 to 2100 year old Hebrew texts from Jerusalem, what kind of text Indiana?

These are a series of inscriptions, texts that of all kinds, some that have go from Shalom,

the mother of the synagogue found near one of the synagogues and finding out that this was a woman

who was a very generous benefactor. Many of them have not been able to be interpreted because

of the difficulty in translating them because of the modern technology and with this digitizing

project the inscriptions provide little details so they it's hard to know what to make of some of

them. Now they are able to piece together a lot of the different inscriptions and writings
