I'm John Boucher and the Indiana Home Line Dusty One is here, the Shapo, the Bullwhip,

the Bag of Tricks, to Jerusalem, to a discovery that's so big everybody missed it for a thousand

years. Indiana, what have you found?

This is incredible.

And people visiting Jerusalem and St. David will be able to see now that as a result of

excavations just done for infrastructure works from the city that they were going to do,

but of course in Jerusalem you always have to do, you have to check everything first because

almost anywhere you dig you find history, but here you found something magnificent which is a

moat which ran 10 meters wide and two to seven meters deep in different places.

This was not a wet moat, it wasn't flooded with water, but it was impossible for the troops

that were attacked Jerusalem would have had to cross the moat and then be facing the walls

in the meantime those inside Jerusalem would be pouring down fire and sulfur and things and

shooting at them. They also could come from secret passageways into the moat to attack and then

go disappear back into the city. And we know from historians who wrote about the first crusader

who were accompanied, talk about when the crusaders came to the wall and they were exhausted by

the journey and all of a sudden they find this huge moat and it took them five weeks to succeed

in crossing it with different tactics and at the cost of a lot of men and both Muslim Jewish

defenders were shooting at them and they found a mysterious handprint that was carved in the

moat wall and nobody understands what it means. We're sending you back out in the end to find out

whose hand that is. I see five fingers from 1100 years ago. India and a whole line, the dusty one
